The King Suite was impressively spacious and featured a real king-size bed, not a pair of twins pushed together. The bathroom felt luxurious, with both a shower and a deep soaking tub, and was stocked with a generous supply of toiletries. Thoughtful room design included a recessed ceiling with a chandelier, ample outlets, good lighting, plush carpeting, and excellent cleanliness. Air conditioning worked flawlessly and stayed on even when the key card was removed — a rare and welcome convenience. The bed was among the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Uzbekistan, complete with four large, fluffy pillows. Staff were smart, efficient, and responsive. They handled all requests professionally and promptly. Special requests — like refrigerating medication and storing luggage for several days — were accommodated without issue. The hotel has an on-site spa and indoor pool, adding to the comfort and amenities.

Ametist Hotel in Samarkand is a hidden gem! It’s a new, modern, and not-too-big hotel that feels both stylish and cozy. Everything is spotless, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The spa area with an indoor pool is a great bonus, and the charming courtyard with a fountain adds a lovely touch. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful — you really feel cared for. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious, fresh, and full of seasonal berries and fruits. And the bed? Absolutely amazing — super comfortable for a perfect night’s sleep. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy Samarkand. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff. It was still easy enough to get to the sights while being in a decent neighbourhood with local dinner options. Great cafe nearby! Very spacious room with a comfortable bed. I'd definitely recommend this place.

It is a very good hotel . The room was modern and huge. Looking into a yard with a beautiful water fountain ⛲. Very good stay.

- Nice rooms, comfy beds. - Very clean, great bathrooms. - Good breakfast. - Spa was very good, excellent steam room. - Location was pretty good, we walked to the attractions, about 30 mins to Registan Sq through lovely parks most of the way.
